WALK RUN OR RIDE 2024 - TEAM DRI EVENT
My family has been involved with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation for many years. My brother Seth of blessed memory was inflicted with T1 diabetes at the age of 25 and I too with T2 about 16 years ago. My Mom became active in DRI and she chaired the annual Gift of Love luncheon in Palm Beach, raising millions for DRI over the years. Upon her untimely passing, I committed myself to carry on her legacy by continuing to offer my support on behalf of the Aronin family to DRI.
We have set up a research scholarship in my folks name at DRI and in addition, I have become active as well participating in the committee for the Long Island DRIF Walk Run or Ride event to be held on September 14, 2024 at Cedar Creek Park in Seaford, NY.
In honor of my mom and in memory of my brother, please join TEAM 4 BUBBIE AND SETH and join our event to raise awareness and funds towards finding a cure for diabetes.
